The article examines issues relating to nonmedical exemptions vaccination as a condition of public-school attendance. contends that the public health impacts may be mitigated through application existing state frameworks procedural tightening, counseling and persuasion, assessments sincerity good faith, emergency laws, transparency. identifies best practices in each these frameworks. concludes are unlikely eliminated.As such, educational authorities must act prevent further erosion benefits associated with vaccination.
